I'm one of the bidders in the auction, and so far the highest bid is $7008.88, which hasn't met the reserve.
I'm thinking of developing a site on it that compliments eBay.com, perhaps a site with list of the most bizarre auctions, a list high-ticket items, a list of items with most bids (most active auction), etc.
Once you get that site/script developed, you can then flip it to another domain/website investor or end-user.
What would you use the domain for if you were to own QBAY.COM, and how much would you buy that domain for?

Wow, that’s a KILLER domain name! You really could play up a cool ebay type site with weird stuff or big ticket items like you said. I bet it would catch on!
You seem to know domains pretty well, and I have one that I’m really wondering about…any chance you would take a look and let me know roughly how much I could get for it?

Hey Ryan,
Definitely check out dnforum.com and you can ask for other domain investor’s opinion on how much your domain would go for.
There are professional domain appraisal services out there, but in my opinion, your domain is worth what the market thinks it’s worth, and usually appraisals come in higher than market value.
But yeah, let me know what domain it is that you hold and maybe we can do some deals!

Hey, I came across your site from google searching qbay.com. I enjoy your site. I’m the domain holder of qbay.com and I had big plans with this domain, but honestly to keep a long story short my life is a mess and I need to fix my teeth, and I give up with trying to develop the site out of financial hardship. I was planning to turn it in to a massive e-commerce center with “possible” free web hosting etc… I’m going through list list of old bidders. You are the first person that I am contacting. I want to make a swift quick sale and transfer. I’m not interested in bickering back and forth of negotiations. So, I make this offer to you to buy the domain or to help me, like actually take a risk in my cause so I can Incorporate or file as an LLC ASAP and appoint shares. Big shares for a small investment in my vision. Either which way, I need to make a move ASAP.
