When I was told by Steve that we were both going to embark on a new project, I was both excited and anxious. I don’t have that much faith in myself about anything related to computers so starting Niche Profit Classroom is a HUGE step.

When I first started the introductory video, I was shocked to find that everything that you will ever need in building a successful website is contained in the NPC package! What an amazing course! I first read through the testimonies of the other people and I was excited to start.

Level 1 – Core Training

The introduction videos for Level 1 Core Training focused more on targeting niches that could generate income. I initially thought that choosing niches or target markets is a breeze and you can just build your content and generate traffic immediately. But as I watched the first few videos, I learned that choosing the right niche is one of the most important elements of a website’s success.

As I went on watching the other videos, I found myself drowning in an overload of information and after a few hours, I ended up having a throbbing headache.  I guess I need to slow it down in the coming days and focus more on the quality of information that I can internalize. But before I call it a day, I’d like to share one cool trick that I learned today when filtering results on google:

So let’s say our keywords are baking cakes. If you just type in baking cakes on google, it will easily show you millions and millions of websites that contain the words baking cakes regardless of how close or far apart these words appear on a website.

But if you type in “baking cakes” – (with quotations on it) – it will filter the results, showing only web pages with sites that contain the exact words baking cakes in the right order. What a cool shortcut! I’ll share more tips with you when I get back tomorrow!
